The College of Charleston Sailing Cougars wrap up the weekend with a strong SECOND place finish at the SAISA Open!

Team members Chris Sands, Katie Dowling, Reed Baldridge, and Elizabeth Chambers sailed extremely well in the 20 team event, and combined for an impressive 11 bullets over the 12 races sailed. The cougars finished off the regatta just 4 points out of first place.

“Over the weekend conditions varied a lot. Winds were between 4 and 16kts, making it very puffy and very shifty on both days. However the weather was warm, which made for great sailing and a lot of fun.” – Team member Chris Sands commenting on this weekend’s regatta.

Way to sail Cougars!
