Day 1 is done, and the Cougars are sitting in FIRST at the SAISA Open (hosted by Eckerd College Sailing)!
After the first 6 races of the series, the Cougars are holding onto the top spot with a narrow 1pt lead over Jacksonville. With a full day of racing set for tomorrow, the College of Charleston Sailors will look to maintain their position at the top of the score sheet, and successfully win out against a tough field of 19 other Southern area teams.

After 2 days of tight competition, which saw 20 of the best southern area teams clash at Eckerd College, the College of Charleston sailors managed to claim a podium spot; never being lower than third in the standings over the course of the regatta.
