It’s almost the weekend, and it’s almost time to hit the water. North Points #2 and the Bob Bavier Team race are up next for the College of CharlestonCougars.
The C of C Sailors have been training all Spring Break, and will look to take that momentum into the first major Team Race event of the season at the home-hosted Bob Bavier, while we send a coed team to Clemson, SC for NP2.

The College of Charleston Sailing Team has taken a convincing WIN at the North Points #2 event in Clemson after dominating the 6 race series. The Cougars were represented by Eliot Caple (’18) & Kayla Adelman (’17) in A division, with Sarah Mackey (’16) & Bayley Davidson (’17) in B.
At the home-hosted Bob Bavier Team Race, the Cougars are sitting in 4th overall with a respectable 8-4 record. A final day of racing is slated for tomorrow where the C of C squad will look to advance up the scoresheet.

The Cougars finish off the weekend 4th overall at the Bob Bavier Team Race, sailed here in Charleston Harbor.
A 9-5 record wasn’t enough to put the C of C team on the podium, but the respectable finish is a good start to the Spring 2015 Team Race season. The Cougars beat out 6 other top level programs to claim the fourth place finish.
