The College of Charleston Sailing Association is excited to offer Sailing Camps for children ages 8 to 14. Camps will be capped at 30 participants.

Cost: $595/week

Ages: 8 to 14 years old.

Times for the camps are Monday-Friday 9am-4pm.

Location: Camp will be held out of the College of Charleston Sailing Center located at the Charleston Harbor Marina and Resort on Patriots Point, Mount Pleasant.

Learn to Sail Camps are designed to teach your child the basic fundamentals and introduce them to the amazing sport of sailing. The CofC sailing instructional staff will conduct teaching on the water aboard our J-22 fixed keelboats.

Continuing sailing is set up to continue furthering your child’s preexisting sailing knowledge wether that is from attending a class from us, another sailing school or through other experiences previously. Spots will be determined based on number of participants and staff for the week.

The J/22 is a stable and safe vessel that is an extremely responsive boat to sail. At all of our sailing camps, your child will learn safety on the water, basic sailing principles, and proper boat handling skills. The staff and instructors are skilled and passionate sailors who will share their enthusiasm with all their students and will hope to encourage your child to pursue future camps and events here at C of C Sailing!

If you are unable to attend the session after registering, please let us know as soon as possible. A full refund will be issued if cancellation is requested at least 14 days prior to the session start date. Cancellation within 14 days will result in a $50 fee. There is no fee associated with transferring to a different session (once spots are available).
